Multiple people were shot at a New York City hospital Friday afternoon. Police are still on the scene of the active situation.

At least three of the shooting victims are doctors with the hospital, The New York Times reported.

The incident began at approximately 3 p.m. on the 16th and 17th floors of the building, according to multiple publications.

The investigation is ongoing.
