Piers Morgan has launched a fresh attack on âghastlyâ J.K. Rowling.
The âGood Morning Britainâ presenter branded the âHarry Potterâ author âsmug and superciliousâ, claiming she is ânot even a good writerâ.
Piers was giving his opinions on a variety of different celebrities in an interview with The Sun, when he was asked his for this thoughts on the best-selling writer, who he has had a number of public spats with over recent months.
He said: âNever read [Harry Potter], never watched a movie, think sheâs utterly ghastly.
Despite admitting two seconds earlier to not having read the books, Piers continued: âSheâs not even a good writer. Good writers will tell you âHarry Potterâ is terrible in terms of literary quality.
The two recently engaged in a Twitter spat when the author admitted sheâd loved watching him being told to âfuck offâ on American television.
He later fell for an epic trick, when she tweeted out a piece of praise, suggesting it was a Valentine appealing to find the author.
âCould the writer let me know who he is? Iâd love to thank him,â she said.
Apparently not stopping to think whether it looked familiar, Piers retweeted it saying it was âpriceless humblebrag BSâ.
The problem was, the piece Rowling tweeted was written by Morgan in 2010, when he included the Harry Potter author in his column â100 British Celebrities Who Really Matterâ.
