After suffering more leaks than Petyr Baelish, HBO has announced it will shoot multiple alternate endings of the hit series 'Game of Thrones' to thwart off would-be leakers.
The network's president of programming, Casey Bloys, said nobody will really know what happens when the filming of the show's final installment wraps up, The Morning Call reports.
"You have to do that on a long show. Because when you're shooting something, people know. So they're going to shoot multiple versions so that there's no real definitive answer until the end," he said.
So really, even Jon Snow will know nothing (until he sits back and watches the final episode with the rest of us).
Then, there was an unfortunate incident where HBO Spain accidentally uploaded an episode to their online streaming service five days before it was due to be released.
With the news spreading that alternate endings will be filmed, fans are now hoping that they'll be aired -- because who wouldn't love to have a 'Choose Your Own Adventure' style 'Game of Thrones'?
This would actually make me more interested in seeing all the different leaks. https://t.co/AK09bXTZX6— Sharon Lurye (@sharonlurye) September 13, 2017
Yes but will we have access to these alternate endings or only to the "final, official" version?— Julie Escurignan (@JulieEscurignan) September 13, 2017
after they choose how they are going to end the show they better release those alternate endings https://t.co/o8TeMU8BmI— kadija (@jjesschastian) September 13, 2017
Sounds to me like we could have our pick of alternate endings if they were to film multiple scenes— Caitlin ⚔️🐺⚔️ (@goingpostale) September 13, 2017
