Well, it's not long now until we find out who Matty J will end up with on this season of 'The Bachelor' but one question hangs over the country like a thick smog: how do we get more Tara on the TV?
Tara Pavlovic left the show on Wednesday, in an emotional episode where bachelor Matty Johnson had to decide his final two bachelorettes. Many saw Pavlovic as a frontrunner of the show, despite earlier on Wednesday slipping up during a radio spot, revealing her elimination.
After her exit, many fans of the show were completely devastated and began the usual campaign to get Tara as the next Bachelorette.
It's the standard response since Richie Strahan was third place in Sam Frost's season of 'The Bachelorette' and Matty was Georgia Love's runner up. Each got their own hashtag and fan campaign.
There's only one slight bit of bad news: Tara's not interested.
Obviously the show is taxing, and Pavlovic said she wasn't strong enough to go through the process all over again, even if she was in the driver's seat.
Pavlovic also claimed she felt like the editing of the show betrayed her trust. During the home visits episode, her brother was edited to be the "stern relative", who grilled Johnson on his intentions.
"How they made my brother look on TV really upset me, and it was just really disappointing. I had trust in the show and they made my brother look like a nasty person when he isn't.
"That made me do a backflip on 'The Bachelorette'."
Pavlovic isn't the only one to slam the show, with Richie Strahan's number-one pick, Alex Nation condemning fans of the show for being too intense.
"I swear some people are BACHs**t crazy and have zero chill," she wrote.
"What I really wanted to stress to you all is to please be kind. From the bottom of my heart, please show kindness. What you're seeing and what you've invested yourself in are real human beings with real feelings. You don't know them and you damn well don't know their story."
Nation posted the message alongside an image of her with Nikki Grogan, who had a similar story to Pavlovic, the fan favourite who was seen as being robbed, and even had a #NikkiForBachelorette campaign after Richie's season.
"Sure, have your faves," Nation wrote, "but do not stoop to the cowardly act of trolling".
It'll be a few months until we know who'll be taking up the title of next year's Bachelor and Bachelorette, but next week marks the beginning of Sophie Monk's journey.
