'Bachelorette' Contestant Posts Rant Raging Against His 'Villain' Edit

Things aren't all rosy for Ryan.

It's no wonder part of the Bachelor mansion is named the "drama cabana". Only one week into Sophie Monk's season of 'The Bachelorette' and we've already got a bit of trouble bubbling up on social media.

From early on in the season we got two clear "villain" edits coming through from two of the more self-assured boys of the pack, Blake Colman and Ryan Jones.

The latter, Ryan, definitely came off strong within just minutes of stepping out of the limo and meeting Sophie, grilling her on her intentions going into the journey. There was also a moment in the show where Sophie began to speak to the group of men but before she could get a word in, Ryan stepped in to whisk her away for another grilling.

Social media lit up, slamming Ryan as the standout villain, but now the 26-year-old has decided to have his own say in a Facebook post that's been leaked in screenshots which you can read in full here, excepts below repeated verbatim.

"Yeah I speak my mind, I'm upfront and I'm straight to the point," Jones wrote, "but would you rather someone like that or someone who sits in the back ground."

"Big thanks to Channel 10 and Warner Brothers for your magic work behind the camera, chopping and screwing everything and anything for your ratings, we all know that your in financial trouble but its a shame that you think so little of someones well being that your prepared to throw them under a bus and watch them suffer."

Since Matty J's season many contestants have begun using social media to slam the production for what they claim are unfair edits. Fan favourite Tara Pavlovic famously saying she wouldn't consider being the next Bachelorette after she saw how the show edited her brother.

"How they made my brother look on TV really upset me, and it was just really disappointing," Pavlovic said, "I had trust in the show and they made my brother look like a nasty person when he isn't".

Still, in Jones' post he made a great point that the entire show is artifice, but that he was glad the show had given him his edit and not someone else.

"Have some common sense and take a step back and realise that it is TV and not real life... If someone had to play this character, I'm glad it was me and not someone else, as someone else may have not been able to handle it the way that I'm able to."
