In another horrific incident, a woman from Delhi has alleged that she was raped by 23 men after being kidnapped near Bikaner in the middle of the day.

Reports suggest that the 28-year-old had gone to the area to see a plot from where she was abducted and raped and then left at the spot.

Hindustan Times quoted her FIR as saying, "They drove me around near some mines for several hours and repeatedly raped me in the vehicle."

Six people have been arrested so far after the survivor reported the case in Jai Narayan Vyas Colony police station.

Bikaner SP Sawai Singh Godara told The Times of India, "Since most of the accused were locals, we kept the incident under the wraps. After the raids, we managed to arrest six persons in this case. The men arrested have been identified as Subash, Raju Ram, Bhanwar Lal, Manoj Kumar, Jugal and Madan (all above 20 years)."

The police are still on the look out for the other suspects.

The Hindustan Times said that first two men raped her in the car, then they called six others who assaulted her before taking her to the power substation in the Palana village. There, more men sexually assaulted her.

ANI reports that the survivor has gone through medical examination and the report is awaited.

The Times of India reported Godara as saying the woman was drugged after which they raped her.
