Watch: This Veggie Burger Recipe Is Easy And Delicious

And they don't fall apart when frying.

Burger time for vegetarians, vegans or those reducing their meat intake can be a big flop. Yes, we're looking at you, soggy mushroom burgers (or worse, burgers with no patty at all).

Enter these meaty, delicious veggie burgers. The secret ingredient in these hearty veggie burger patties are the black beans which impart a mince-like texture and look.

To make these vegetarian burgers, start by processing black beans with onion and garlic, and add an egg and bread crumbs to help bind the patties. Once you've got your veggie patty mix, shape into individual burger sizes and refrigerate for 15 minutes while you prep your burger fillings.

Then all that's left to do is fry the veggie burger patties until golden brown on each side, place cheese slices on top of the patties and allow to melt, and build your burger with tomato, lettuce and tomato-mayo sauce.
