Man Fighting For Life After Horror Wedding Reception Fall In Sydney

A wedding reception Sydney took a shocking turn overnight, with a man suffering "catastrophic injuries" after falling down a flight of stairs in the CBD.

The man, 45, was rushed to hospital after tumbling down stairs at the Queen Victoria Building in central Sydney, about 9.45pm Saturday, police said.

The man is said to have sustained "catastrophic injuries" after tripping and falling down the stairs. He remains in St Vincent's Hospital in a critical condition.

Police have questioned guests and staff at the wedding reception venue inside the QVB.

Police said the incident was not being treated as suspicious.
