Freak Accident Leaves Footballer With Horrific Injury In Worst Possible Place

This is going to give us nightmares for years.

Ow. Ow. Ow.

This has got to hurt. Like REALLY hurt.

Argentinian footballer Mariano Bittolo was left more than a little sore after playing for Spanish second league side Albacete against Huesca on Saturday. The defender needed 10 stitches to his penis following a sickening collision with a teammate that will definitely have anyone with a penis holding their breath.

You can check out the entire painful accident below.

Bittolo was standing in his team's goal-box during the 82nd minute when his teammate, Ukrainian striker Roman Zozulya, jumped to knock away an incoming ball using his head -- only to have the studs of one of his football boots connect with the Argentinian exactly where anyone with family jewels wouldn't want them to.

If you were too squeamish to watch the video above and still haven't caught on, Bittolo was left rolling around in pain on the ground because Zozulya had hit him right in the groin, slicing open his manhood.

The 27-year-old immediately called for assistance from his club from the sidelines and took a moment to survey the damage -- but judging by the look on his face, it wasn't good.

Albacete eventually substituted the South American and went on to secure a 0-0 draw in the match, meaning a competition point for the team (and 10 very painful points for Bittolo).
