Watch: How To Make Low-Carb Cauliflower Garlic Bread

It's soft, fluffy and sliceable. Yep, really.

We've seen low-carb versions of hash browns, pasta and breakfast burritos, but we never thought homemade low-carb garlic bread would be a (delicious) reality. Surely you need flour to make a soft, sliceable loaf of bread, right?

Well, thanks to some magic, low-carb garlic bread is a real, fluffy and super tasty thing. How, might you ask? With the help of our good friend cauliflower, almond flour and lots of eggs -- the key ingredient to making this garlic bread fluffy, golden and rise.

To make this low-carb garlic bread, you'll need to start by making cauliflower rice (don't worry, it's easy or you can even buy it from the supermarket) and microwaving it so the cauliflower crumbs become soft and tender. Next it's time to beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form (you'll be using this in the final step).

Then make the rest of the garlic bread dough by combining the leftover egg yolks with almond flour, fresh minced garlic, butter and baking powder. Finally, fold in the egg white mixture and the herbs, pour into a loaf tin and bake the loaf until golden.

To make this low-carb garlic bread extra delicious, top each thick slice with extra herbs and shaved Parmesan or mozzarella, and place the bread under the grill until the cheese has melted.
