Sydney duo Polish Club are one of Australia's most exciting, loud new bands, offering up a sizzling combination of retro rock 'n' roll, blues and soul, melting faces and starting parties nationwide.

But when frontman Dave Novak came into the HuffPost Australia offices for a chat ahead of the band's Christmas-themed tour to celebrate their new EP 'Okie Dokie', he showed off an exclusive and rare look at a different, softer side of the band. Novak from Polish Club kindly played us what he said was the first ever acoustic version of one of the band's songs, pulling out the guitar for a raw, live version of new tune 'Back 2 U'.

Polish Club have only been around for a few years, but have wasted no time in burning their way around the country. They tour hard, work hard and play hard -- just this year the two-piece have released their debut album 'Alright Already' to critical acclaim, played a big national headline tour, toured with The Preatures nationwide, and now are preparing to release their new EP and hit the road for another headlining run.

Novak tells HuffPost Australia's Uncut podcast about their fast rise through the ranks, treating the band like a full-time job, and gives some recommendations for his new favourite Aussie bands.
