UN Secretary General’s Special Envoy for Road Safety
Jean Todt was appointed Special Envoy of the UN Secretary General for Road Safety by Mr Ban Ki-moon in April 2015. Since 2009, he has been President of the FIA, the international motoring federation. Before then he had a career at Peugeot and Ferrari, overseeing their sporting activities. Jean Todt is also involved in many charitable causes including the ICM, a leading brain and spinal cord research institute, and the Suu Foundation.
