Lindsay Fendt is an award-winning freelance journalist and photographer. She covered health and the environment as a former staff writer and photographer for The Tico Times in San José, Costa Rica. In 2017 she moved to Colorado for the Scripps Fellowship in Environmental Journalism to work on a project about the global rise of murders of environmentalists. Her work on this topic will be released over the course of 2018 and 2019. Lindsay’s other work has been published in The Guardian, U.S. News and World Report, Univision, Al Jazeera and Vice News among others.
