Lisa Claes

Executive Director, Customer Delivery, ING DIRECT

Lisa has more than 20 years’ experience at an executive level in the banking and wealth management industries following an earlier career as a barrister and Group General Counsel. Reporting directly to the CEO, she has experience in leading all retail business units within ING DIRECT as well as divisions of the wealth management enterprise, ING Australia.

Lisa is currently Executive Director, Customer Delivery – responsible for the acquisition, servicing and experience of the bank’s 1.5 million customers through its diverse retail distribution channels (digital, wholesale and third party). In addition to her local executive responsibilities, Lisa represents Australia in the ING Group Retail Council and chairs the Group’s Mortgages forum.

Lisa has a high profile in the Australian financial services industry and is actively sought out as a presenter and writer on a broad range of issues facing the industry locally and globally. Her thought leadership has been recognised and she is the recipient of several industry awards.
