Comedian, BBC radio presenter, minister and author on Bible mysticism, novelist
Maggy Whitehouse is an Independent Catholic Priest, a stand-up comedian and author of 16 books on spirituality, the Bible, mysticism, metaphysics and money.
She says she lives a life of miracles, including out-facing a giant barracuda, riding on the back of a Bengal tiger and being the first person in the world to bring a dog from the USA to the UK on Passports for Pets. In 2015 she was a finalist in the UK Funny Women awards having started stand-up comedy at the age of 57.
Maggy has worked in newspapers, as a radio and TV producer and presenter and as a writer for the BBC’s famed World Service.
She is an expert on the lives of women in Biblical times including Mary Magdalene and the Old Testament Matriarchs and Heroines and in the spiritual laws of prosperity.
Maggy has been widowed and divorced and now lives on Dartmoor with her astrologer husband, Lion, and a pack of livestock.
