Chrissy Teigen has listened to John Legendâs forthcoming album, and letâs just say she had a lot of constructive criticism for her superstar husband.
The âCravingsâ cookbook author took her notes to Twitter on Sunday, expressing concern over a certain lyric on the new record.
âListening to johnâs new album for the first time. âYou know thereâs a lot of women tryin to take your placeâ bitch what the fuck?â Teigen tweeted, quoting the song.
She joked that the lyrics were the reason âwhy Iâm gonna keep my options open with the men of better call Saul,â the âBreaking Badâ spinoff that she revealed over the weekend sheâd been binge-watching.
Teigen added that she did have a favorite song on her husbandâs new album, but couldnât resist adding a little snark.
âOne of my favorite ones is one with @JheneAiko why donât u guys just get fuckin married!!!â she tweeted.
But Legend tweeted that Teigen left out a crucial part of his song lyric, which would add a bit of, you know, context for fans.
âYou didnât tell them the punchline,â Legend tweeted. ââBut Iâm focused. Iâm focused on you,ââ
That would seem to follow âYou know thereâs a lot of women tryin to take your place.â
But Teigen wasnât having it.
âDo u know what a punchline is,â she quipped.
Aiko responded to Teigenâs marriage âsuggestionâ by shutting it all down on Twitter. She wrote that she loves the supermodel and that she and Legend are âboth actually singing to you in these songs.â
But Teigen kept it going, leaking Legendâs new material on both her Instagram and Twitter accounts.
âCurrently leaking johnâs album on my stories. out June 19th. or free when I get mad enough,â she captioned wrote in the caption of an Instagram video of herself bopping along to one of Legendâs songs.
Legend had an answer for that post as well.
âI call this free promotion. Leak on,â he joked.
âOh bitch itâs not free,â she answered.
These two! It sounds like Legend is going to have to write an âAll of Meâ Part 2.
