Connie Britton Emmy Dress 2013 Channels 'The Little Mermaid' (PHOTOS)

When we first caught whim that Connie Britton had been juicing for weeks to prepare for her appearance at the 2013 Emmys, we wondered why. The "Nashville" star has a knockout figure in our opinion, but when she stepped onto the red carpet, it all made sense.

Britton poured her curves into a Fall 2013 Naeem Khan velvet dress. The ocean blue color, gold embroidered detail, mermaid train and those auburn waves made her look like a modern-day Ariel. Suddenly we hear the song "Under the Sea" playing in our heads.
