The force is strong in the "Star Wars" community.

Superfan Daniel Fleetwood was diagnosed with a rare form of connective tissue cancer and given only two months to live in June. He outlasted the original prognosis, but is doubtful he will survive the next month.

His dying wish was to see "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" and, according to his wife Ashley's Facebook account, his dream came true.

To all our wonderful supporters, friends, family and awesome strangers: Daniel's final dream was just granted!!! Today the wonderful Disney and Lucasfilms made his final dream come true, in the amazing typical Disney way, they really do make dreams come true!

Daniel just finished watching an unedited version of Star Wars: The Force Awakens!!! We would like to thank the awesomely talented JJ Abrams for calling us yesterday to tell us Daniel was getting his wish granted! We also would like to thank Lynne, Ben and Anahuac for coming to our home and screening the movie for Daniel. Lastly I want to thank ALL the amazing people who helped make this happen, thank you beyond words!!! May the force be with you all #‎forcefordaniel !!!!

Fleetwood's #ForceWithDaniel campaign was supported by "Star Wars" fans and actors alike. "The Force Awakens" protagonist Daisy Ridley shared an Instagram photo with the caption, "This one's for you Daniel Fleetwood!!! We will all do what we can to make your wish come true #forcefordaniel."

Luke Skywalker himself, Mark Hamill, took to Twitter to express his happiness over the news of Daniel's success. Hamill posted that he was "elated for Daniel & his family" and shared Ashley's Facebook post.

We hope it was everything you hoped for and more, Daniel!
