Guy Sebastian Trolls Former Australian Idol Competitor Shannon Noll With Cheeky Facebook Post

'Oi I'm Guy Sebastian!'

Guy Sebastian has poked fun at his former Australian Idol competitor Shannon Noll with a cheeky Facebook post referencing Nollsie's now infamous arrest outside an Adelaide strip club last month.

Noll was arrested and charged with two counts of assault on January 15 after getting into an altercation with security guards outside a strip club, where he allegedly became aggressive and repeatedly shouted "I'm Shannon Noll, let me in to the Crazy Horse!"

He then allegedly punched a bouncer, before being tackled to the ground by several security guards as onlookers sang lines from his debut hit 'What About Me'.

In the Facebook post, Sebastian staged a mock arrest with a man dressed in police uniform pinning him against a wall. The status reads: "Oi I'm Guy Sebastian let me back into the Crazy Horse!!"

The post published on Tuesday evening was quick to go viral, garnering 15,000 'likes' in just four hours.

Some have criticised the post as "savage" and "outrageous", but others were quick to see the funny side, with one commentor joking "They're finally locking you up for that robbery back in 2003?" in reference to Sebastian beating Noll to win Australian Idol.

The pair are actually long-time friends since meeting on the first season of Idol, and Sebastian has previously defended Nollsie's behaviour on the night of his arrest, saying "there's two sides to the story."

"I've known him for 14 years. I've hung out with him a bunch of times.

"I've never heard him ever say anything remotely like 'Don't you know who I am?'"
