Goulburn police are trying to determine if a kangaroo was alive before it was dragged through the city after being tied to the back of a car on Sunday night.
Witnesses said the Kangaroo was attached to the back of a green Nissan Pulsar and driven through the township of Goulburn before two occupants of the car cut the animal free and fled in their vehicle, police say.

Investigators are trying to determine whether the kangaroo was alive before it attached to the vehicle.
The are urging anyone with information to come forward.
