Model Responds To Dudes Who Send Her Dick Pics By Telling Their Girlfriends

"I think women need to stick together."

Senders of unsolicited dick pics, beware.

Emily Sears, an Australian model based in Los Angeles, is one of countless women who have to deal with online harassment in the form of unsolicited NSFW images.

So she decided to respond to the gentleman senders by reaching out to their girlfriends. (An example of her public shaming can be seen in the NSFW tweet below.)

"The message we really want to send is that this happens to so many women, not just models with a following," she told The Huffington Post in an email Friday. "I've had girlfriends of mine deny men on dating apps, only to have them search for them on LinkedIn and other profiles, sending completely inappropriate messages."

Sears, who has 2.3 million Instagram followers, said the responses she receives from the girlfriends of the offenders have been "mixed," ranging from "ignoring to heartfelt gratitude."

"I think once I provide them with the information it's their choice and right to decide what they want to do with it."

Ultimately, Sears' aim is to do her part in stopping online harassment.

"We just want to remind people to take accountability for their actions online, and stop saying and doing things online that you wouldn't do in person," she added. "I think that extends even beyond unsolicited dick pics, to other forms of bullying and harassment."
