The fun kicks off Wednesday October 19.

Twenty-five diverse events celebrating the art of dance and electronic music will kick off on Wednesday as part of "MoVement Sydney", a five-day takeover that aims to reinvigorate and support the city's live music scene.

Oxford Art Factory will host the world exclusive debut of "Mind Gamers", a musical collaboration between renowned artists Sebastien Tellier, Daniel Stricker (Midnight Juggernauts) and John Kirby (Blood Orange).

As well as live music there will be art exhibitions from Tokyo-based Australian artist and illustrator, Karan Singh, and a live music photography exhibition pairing live music and art with DJs spinning tracks as you peruse.

It wouldn't be a legit takeover without breaking a Guinness World Record at some point along the way and Stoney Roads have it covered.

The dance music blog is attempting to break the record for the most amount of back-to-back DJs playing one set, with each act mixing one song onto the next.

It's the last few days to visit @lamingtondrive to see 'Potluck'! This is one of my favourites 👀😊

MoVement and Sugar Mountain Festival will present 'Potluck', an exhibition at Goodspace Gallery from renowned Tokyo-based Australian artist and illustrator Karan Singh.

The current record? 133. And with 150 DJs already signed up, it's looking likely they'll bring it home.

If you're keen to witness history, you might want to cancel the evening's plans with organisers estimating the set will take at least 12 hours.

"Rave of Thrones" will be happening at Enmore Theatre featuring none other than Kristian Nairn aka GOT's "HODOR" showcasing some of the "deepest house from all seven kingdoms" at his very own rave.

There will be secret warehouse parties, special screenings of docos like "Daft Punk Unchained" and curated club nights including a Halloween Party.

The festivities kick of Wednesday October 19. For more info and tickets head here.
