The Internet Went Crazy As Hillary Clinton Accepted The Nomination

Hillary Clinton took the stage and accepted the Democratic nomination for President of the United States, and by most accounts, she crushed it.

She made history as the first woman to get a major party's nomination for President, a landmark moment in time. But while many were overwhelmed by the occasion, it was also a speech of funny, awkward and instantly GIF-able moments.

There was the awkward moment when the camera turned to Clinton's opponent, Bernie Sanders, and he kept a stoic and grumpy face:

And the moment this guy was having almost too much fun listening to Katy Perry's performance before Clinton's speech:

There was the bit where Clinton brought the house down with probably the most iconic moment of the speech:

And then the bit, a few days ago toward the start of the convention, where a giant (slightly scary, to be honest) graphic showed Hillary's giant face shattering a glass ceiling:

Then there was the part where none other than MORGAN FREEMAN lent his iconic voiceover voice to a short film played before Clinton's speech:

When even Oprah got in on the game:

And when Bernie Sanders gave a begrudging sort of acknowledgement:

When Hillary made like, a lot of sense on guns:

When Donald Trump inevitably had his say:

And then when he was... um... kinda wrong:

Oh, and of course, the balloons:
