Gender reveal stunts and parties are growing in popularity, where parents-to-be surprise friends and family by revealing the gender of their baby. While normally limited to balloons or cake, "burnouts," where cars give off pink or blue smoke, have become popular in Australia. But a recent stunt near the Gold Coast ended with a car bursting into flames and the owner was later convicted of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
