Citizens of Braavos better brace themselves -- they are about to have a Tasmanian in their midst.

Australian fans of 'Game of Thrones' can rejoice at the news 'The Babadook' actress Essie Davis is set to appear in season six of the hit series.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Davis will play a member of a theatre troupe travelling through Braavos with their play 'The Bloody Hand', in which Davis' character acts as Cersei Lannister.

Reports of Davis' casting emerged after fans leaked photos of the actress on set.

Davis is best known for her starring role in Australian series 'Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries' as well as for her award-winning turn as a struggling single mother in the horror film 'The Babadook'.

She has also appeared in 'The Slap', both 'Matrix' sequels and 'Cloudstreet'.

Let's see if she can make it through Braavos in tact -- as all GoT fans know, not everyone has been so lucky.
