While the label is yet to debut them on their official account, Gabbana showed off the forthcoming designs that appear to be in a neutral palette of black, cream and a range of florals.
Called The Abaya Collection, Dolce and Gabbana have identified a gap in the market of what is a very large part of the world's population -- over 23 percent are of Islamic faith.
Very few 'mainstream' brands offer hijabs or abayas in their collections, though Uniqlo does stock an affordable option.
