The football news is that France hammered Iceland 5-2 in the Euros this morning, but that's not what's important here.
Sure, the host country may have thrashed the underdogs with superb goals from Olivier Giroud, Paul Pogba, Dimitri Payet and Antoine Griezmann.
And the French may have booked a delicious semi-final meeting with Germany.
But this is about bidding a sad farewell to real star of the tournament: Iceland's boisterous commentator.
In case you missed it, Guðmundur Benediktsson, a former footballer himself, had become the star of the Euro 2016 tournament with a man-of-the-series performance behind the microphone in Iceland's upstart wins over Austria and England.
Mr Benediktsson, or SIR Benediktsson as we'd prefer him to be known, channels such boyish excitement at the sight of his countrymen scoring goal that it sounds less like commentating than it does a cat screeching.
But we're the ones crying over spilled milk because now we have to wait until at LEAST the 2018 World Cup, if Iceland qualifies, to get a bit of this:

Sir Benediktsson Iceland, it's been emotional.
