We gladly embraced the Lemon Oreo. And the Watermelon Oreo. We even tasted the Fruit Punch Oreo, for goodness sake!
But a Swedish Fish Oreo is simply far too much to handle.
Yup, Nabisco confirmed this week that Swedish Fish Oreos are indeed its latest limited-edition flavor, sold only in Kroger grocery stores. Those who have gotten their hands on the flavor confirm they look as wild as they sound:
If youโre fishing around for a snack, then this probably isnโt the best choice.
The new Oreo has a โpotentโ flavor with a โslightly off-putting finish of waxy gelatin,โ said one taster on The Impulsive Buy.
โI couldnโt get the cough syrup taste out of my mouth,โ said another from Thrillist.
Maybe itโs a good thing these Oreos have limited availability: Theyโll be sold only in Kroger stores for a limited time. Of course if youโre feeling adventurous, you can always buy them on the black โ er, is that red? โ market online.
Weโll stick to our homemade chocolate oat cookies for now, thank you.
