It was the horror 15 minutes that turned a stretch of WA highway into a deadly gauntlet.
On Saturday afternoon, the Bussell Highway was transformed to a scene of chaos and carnage wrought by an out-of-control driver at Capel, in the state's southwest.
The nightmare road collision was shockingly caught on camera by a motorist trailing the out-of-control Toyota Landcruiser, just before 5pm.

The alarming footage shows the Green Landcruiser driving wildly, repeatedly crossing on to the wrong side of the road and causing oncoming cars to swerve into ditches.
As many as 20 cars were reportedly forced off the road during Landcruiser's terrifying rampage.
The video of the incident is said to have been captured by Dan Mateljan as he and two friends followed the erratic Landcruiser from a safe distance.
"He's going to kill someone for sure," a man in Mateljan's car can be heard to say in the footage.
"That car has gone right in the ditch, wow," a passenger says at another point.
The wild driving ended in horror when the Landcruiser crashed head-on with a Rav4 driven by 61-year-old Jenni Pratt. She died at the scene while the 54-year-old passenger in the Rav4 sustained life-threatening injuries.
The 45-year-old driver of the Landcruiser reportedly suffered critical injuries in the crash and was airlifted to Royal Perth Hospital.
Later, Mateljan told the Nine Nework that there was no explanation for the driving.
"He was physically driving his vehicle off-road to take out signs and then veering into the oncoming traffic to then deliberately have a head-on collision," he's quoted as saying.
The stretch of the Bussell Highway where the smash occurred was recently named one of WA's most dangerous roads.
