Considered one of fashion's biggest nights, the Met Gala is always an entertaining night of faux-pas, faux-furs and pure faux-bulousness. A fundraiser for New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art, the event brings together stars of all kinds to strut their stuff in their most jaw-dropping outfits.
Each year the event also signals the opening of the annual fashion exhibition of the Costume Institution with last year celebs wearing their best fashion-future-forward outfits for the exhibition "Manus X Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology".
This year celebrating Comme des Garçons designer Rei Kawakubo with an exhibition titled "Rei Kawakubo/Comme des Garçons: Art of the In-Between".
