The man who mooned crowds while wearing an Australian flag at Eurovision has been identified as Ukrainian prankster Vitalii Sediuk.
SBS European Correspondent Brett Mason confirmed Sediuk was the notorious entertainer who invaded the stage at this year's song contest. The man dropped his trousers to the crowd during a half-time performance by the 2016 winner, Jamala.
Australia allegedly experienced a drop in public votes for the final after viewers reacted on Twitter, with many people blaming the decline on the mooning incident.
Despite being removed from the stage by security, Sekuik's buttock bearing incident is not the first controversial prank by the infamous personality.
Kim Kardashian, Brad Pitt and Will Smith are just some celebrities who have had a run in with Sekuik.
Despite Isaiah Firebrace coming ninth in this year's Eurovision song contest, it seems Australia could be remembered for all the wrong reasons.
