It isn't known where in Mexico the footage was taken, however it has been distributed by Record, a local newspaper.
At least 225 people were killed following the 7.1 magnitude quake on Tuesday, which occurred 32 years to the day after a devastating 1985 quake that left more than 9,500 dead.
Harrowing videos of the quake show buildings being reduced to rubble, including a school where at least 22 children and two adults were killed.
It's the second quake to hit the country in the past fortnight, with at least 98 killed when the strongest quake in 80 years struck southern Mexico.
