And it's so much better with the Titanic music.

We'll have what they're having.

Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal are the greatest modern rivals in tennis. But they're also friends. Fed has described the Spaniard as "inspiring and influential", and said he made him the player he is.

All the same, it is extremely rare to see an overt display of affection between the two like the world just witnessed at the Laver Cup in Prague.

Europe! Europe! Europe! Oi! Oi! Oi!

The Laver Cup is a new annual tournament dreamed up and put together by Federer's management company, Tennis Australia, a Brazilian businessman and others. It honours Australia's greatest ever player Rod Laver -- who is a great hero of Federer's -- and pits Europe against the world.

As you can tell from the images above, the six-man Europe team won. No surprises either, as Europe versus the world in men's tennis is hardly a fair fight. Of the available players, the Europeans took players ranked 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th, 7th and 19th. The highest rest-of-the-world player was ranked 16th.

Despite the on-paper mismatch, the event was hard fought. Some seasoned tennis watchers writers may not be sold on the event's worth (yet), but no one could deny there was some great tennis.

Including this lovely set point save from Australia's Nick Kyrgios in the final match against Federer.

Federer went on to win that absolute thriller of a match 4-6, 7-6 (8-6), 11-9. That clinched overall victory Europe for Europe by 15 points to 9 and prompted the joyous celebrations already alluded to.

And of course, it was all so much richer and more satisfying with the Titanic music. Make sure your volume is turned up. Then again, maybe make sure it's not.
