'Andrew In Drag' By The Magnetic Fields (VIDEO) (NSFW)

Bending Gender With The Magnetic Fields

If you've been humming "Andrew In Drag," Stephen Merritt's return-to-form earworm since we first heard it in January, here's a video for you to watch on repeat. Director Scott Valins described the gender-blurring video to NPR as "a series of intimate portraits that lead the viewer to their own complex conclusions of what they are attracted to." Be warned, there's nudity (though if you survived the boob-taping scenes in "Now And Then," you'll probably be ok).

WATCH:

"Andrew" drops March 6 as part of Love At The Bottom Of The Sea, an album whose 3 minutes or fewer ditties sound poised to be a continuation of 69 Love Songs. Head over to NPR's music blog for more video commentary from Valins.
