From rainbow Skittles to cake, coffee, matzo, bagels and grilled cheese sandwiches (oh my!), the multi-colored food craze has come quite a way from its humble, candy-licious childhood beginnings. And while our eyes and Instagram feeds may be rejoicing in the avalanche of colors, a 2015 study has found that the polychromatic bites may be tricking your brain into tasting flavors that aren't really there.
